Classic Sweet Tea for a Crowd

Recipe from Summer Iced Tea Recipes: 50+ Regular, Herbal, Milk, and Fruity Teas

Prep: 5 min  Cook: 7 min  Serves: 16

Ingredients:

1 gallon water

4-5 black tea bags

¾ cup sugar

Lemon slices 

Directions:

• In a large pot, bring the water to boil. Then remove from heat.
• Add the sugar and stir to dissolve.
• Add the tea bags and steep for 5-7 minutes to create a strong concentrate.
• Remove the tea bags. Mix in the remaining 3 quarts of cold water and place in the refrigerator until chilled.
• Serve over ice with a lemon slice.
