Maple Iced Tea
Recipe from Summer Iced Tea Recipes: 50+ Regular, Herbal, Milk, and Fruity Teas
Prep: 10 min Cook: 1 hour 15 min Serves: 8
Ingredients:
6 black tea bags, (English breakfast)
8 cups water, (4 cups boiling, 4 cups cold)
1/3 cup pure maple syrup
Directions:
- In a saucepan, bring 4 cups water to a boil. Remove from heat.
- Add the tea bags and allow to steep for 10-15 minutes.
- Remove the tea bags and pour the tea into a large pitcher.
- Stir the maple syrup to dissolve, then add in 4 cups cold water and mix well.
- Refrigerate for 1 hour to chill.
- Serve over ice.
Fun Fact!
Instead of sugar, try maple syrup! It’s a good source of manganese, copper, riboflavin, calcium, zinc, and potassium. It also contains prebiotics that can improve digestion.
