Fun Fact!
Allspice dates back to the Mayan civilization. The Mayans used allspice to flavor their hot chocolate and other foods. Allspice carries the flavors of other spices like cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, and a bit of black pepper and today we use it to add flavor to apple pies . . . and to this delicious tea!
