2-Ingredient Strawberry Angel Food Cake

Ingredients
16 oz box Betty Crocker Angel Food Cake Mix {*make sure to use the ‘just add water’ variety}
21 oz can strawberry pie filling
Other
Whipped cream
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Set aside an ungreased 9×13 cake pan. (Do NOT grease the pan)
- In a bowl, stir together the cake mix and pie filling.
- Pour the batter into the cake pan and bake until golden brown on top, about 28-33 minutes.
- Remove from oven and let cool. The cake will fall in the middle as it cools, this is normal.
- To prevent it from falling, turn the pan upside down over a flat surface, or another baking sheet, and let cool.
- Serve with whipped cream, if desired.
Variations
- Make Blueberry Angel Food Cake with a 21 oz can of blueberry pie filling instead of the strawberry.
- Make Pineapple Angel Food Cake with a 20 oz can of crushed pineapple with juice. Beat the cake mix and pineapple on low speed 30 seconds, then medium speed 1 minute. Bake 40-45 minutes.
