Salmon Patties with Zesty Dill Sauce

Ingredients:
1 (5 ounce) can salmon, drained and flaked
1/2 cup dried breadcrumbs
2 Tbs minced onion
1 Tbs Dijon mustard
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 tsp lemon juice
Sea salt and ground black pepper to taste
1 Tbs olive oil, or as needed
Dill Sauce:
1/4 cup sour cream
1 tsp dill weed
1/4 tsp garlic powder
Sea salt to taste
Seasoned salt to taste
Lemon zest to taste
Tip!
Make the Dill Sauce two hours or more ahead of time and refrigerate to allow the flavors to blend.
Directions:
- Make the Sauce: Mix sour cream, dill, garlic powder, sea salt, seasoned salt, and lemon zest in a bowl.
- Mix salmon, breadcrumbs, onion, Dijon mustard, egg, lemon juice, sea salt, and black pepper together in a bowl.
- Shape the mixture into 2 salmon patties.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook patties until lightly browned about 4 minutes per side; season with sea salt and black pepper.
- Serve with the sauce.
Tip!
Use a 15 ounce can of salmon and triple the rest of the ingredients to have leftovers!
