Raspberry Rose Iced Tea
Recipe from Summer Iced Tea Recipes: 50+ Regular, Herbal, Milk, and Fruity Teas
Prep: 10 min Cook: 1 hour Serves: 4
Ingredients:
1 quart water
4 white tea bags
2 cups fresh rose petals (or 4 Tbs dried rose petals)
4 cups fresh (or frozen) raspberries
Sugar or honey, to taste
Directions:
- In a large pot, bring the water to almost a boil. Remove from heat and stir in sugar to dissolve. If using honey, add after the tea has cooled slightly, so the heat doesn’t destroy the health benefits.
- Add the white tea bags with rose petals and steep for 5 minutes.
- Remove tea bags and add the raspberries.
- Let cool to room temperature and refrigerate for 1 hour to infuse flavors.
- Strain the raspberries and rose petals from the tea and serve over ice.
- Garnish with fresh raspberries and rose petals.
Fun Fact!
Rose petals have many health benefits including reducing anxiety, improving digestion, soothing cramps, and reducing inflammation. More than just a pretty flower, add these petals in with lavender or chamomile too, to lower stress and have a more restful sleep.
