3-Ingredient Savory Parmesan Cookies
Recipe from 3-Ingredient Cookies: 30 Tasty and Easy to Make Recipes for Any Occasion
Prep: 30 min Cook: 10 min Refrigerate: 1 hour Makes: 36 cookies
Ingredients:
1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
½ cup salted butter, softened
1 ⅔ cups grated Parmesan cheese
Toppings:
1-2 sprigs rosemary
1-2 sprigs thyme and / or oregano
1 Tbs various seeds
1 Tbs various herbs
Directions:
- In a food processor, add the flour and Parmesan and whisk together. Add the butter and pulse to form coarse crumbs. If needed, add 1-2 Tbs water until dough is almost combined.
- On a lightly floured surface, knead the dough until it is soft and smooth.
- Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate 1 hour.
- Preheat oven to 350 F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place dough in between 2 sheets of parchment paper and roll out to a thickness of 1/8 to ¼-inch.
- Cut the dough in circles using a small cookie cutter or glass.
- Re-roll dough and repeat as needed.
- Place the cookies on the baking sheet and add any of the toppings you desire. Bake 10-15 minutes. Remove and transfer to a wire rack to cool.
- Serve with wine or appetizers.
