Hi there

Greebo has turned into a thief!  She has been playing with my metal fingernail file I keep on the desk. I keep putting it back in it’s place under the organizer that holds my pens, stapler, and such. And she keeps clawing at it, bumping it with her paw, and finally tugging it out from beneath the organizer.

Today it’s missing. I’ve looked all over the house. It’s … just gone.

I can’t find it anywhere. I guess I’ll have to get me a new one and then the lost one will pop up shortly after. haha

Not much to report this week. We’ve stayed in the 100’s and the electric bill has shot up high. I’ve been busy with writing a new cookbook and taking on a new client. Work is keeping me busy.

This week’s newsletter Spirit Animal is Tiger.

This week’s Newsletter Spirit Animal

Tiger Symbolism and Meanings:

Tiger is a powerful, sleek, stealthy, and mysterious animal. But these aren’t the only deep meanings that Tiger symbolizes.

Tiger is a patient hunter, lying in wait and observing until the moment is right, and strikes with accuracy. Tiger kills quickly and effectively.

Tiger Symbolism and Meanings:

  • Focus
  • Power
  • Duality
  • Solitary
  • Instinct
  • Cunning
  • Strategy
  • Patience
  • Observant
  • Awareness
  • Protection
  • Resourceful
  • Independence
  • Communication

Tiger teaches that your strength is in strategy, to think, calculate and observe before making your move. If you are impulsive, Tiger can help you with patience, teaching that the best time to strike is when everything is aligned. Do not act hastily, or you will lose opportunities.

Tiger’s stripes are a type of camouflage known as cryptic coloration, meaning their stripes and color helps to break up it’s body so they blend into the jungle and forest vegetation. This is part of the stealth and disguise it can teach you to catch your opportunities. Tiger’s stripes are as unique as a snowflake, no striped pattern is the same among all the tigers in the world.
